The Moxi three contains a very large 500 GB hard drive and can record up to 75 hours of HD content or 300 hours of standard definition content, but this unit is expandable up to hours if you upgrade to the external 6 TB external drive. (Now I have to interject here and maybe I’m showing my age, but I can remember when we got our first Packard Bell computer and had a 1.19 GB hard drive and at the time it was unbelievable how much space there was on the hard drive and now we’re talking about 6 TB not being enough to hold all their purchase TV shows. the  Moxi  mate that I use for additional rooms is sort of slow and it is definitely slower than the main unit but it’s not that bad.
